Creation of a map of the locations used in the movie “Shiba Park,” shot in Shinagawa Ward.

The story got a lot of attention for its novel combination of middle-aged men, Shiba Inu dogs, and conversational dialogue style. The movie was a theatrical edition of the “Shiba Park” TV drama, which had a devoted fan following and was known as the most heartwarming and cool TV drama of winter 2019.

Shinagawa Ward was the main setting for both the TV drama and the movie edition of “Shiba Park.”

Filming locations: Shinagawa Hanakaido, Yatsuyama Street, Tachiaigawa Ryoma Shopping Street, Tenso-Suwa Shrine, etc.

Shinagawa Film Commission created a map for strolling through the filming locations of “Shiba Park. The map will be available from June 14 from the Shinagawa Tourism Association.
