{"id":1250,"date":"2020-11-02T19:57:44","date_gmt":"2020-11-02T10:57:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.locationbox.metro.tokyo.lg.jp\/english\/?post_type=topics&#038;p=1250"},"modified":"2026-04-07T20:03:43","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T11:03:43","slug":"1250","status":"publish","type":"topics","link":"https:\/\/www.locationbox.metro.tokyo.lg.jp\/english\/topics\/1250\/","title":{"rendered":"A kick-off event for the animation \u201cKamiarizuki no Kodomo\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Animation Movie \u201cKmiarizuki no Kodomo\u201c supported by Tokyo Location Box (TLB)<\/h2>\n<p>On October 31st,<sup>\u00a0<\/sup>2020, a special kick-off event took place to celebrate the opening of the Hibiya Venue of the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>This outdoor event started with a screening of a promotional video of TLB, then TLB staff took the podium and shared a background story that TLB and the film crews worked so closely to find the best locations for the production, followed by an introduction of TLB together with Toshinari Shinohe, an Original Writer\/Communication Director of the movie.<\/p>\n<h2>The event had the movie\u2019s theme song performed for the first time, and invited surprise guests too!<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1251\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com\/www.locationbox.metro.tokyo.lg.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/tiff_kamiari_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1152\" \/><br \/>\nA freshly recorded movie theme \u201cKanna\u201d which took a year until completion, was performed for the first time by a singer \u201cmiwa.\u201d<br \/>\nAs surprise guests for the event, voice actors from the movie such as Akira Kamiya acting as \u201cOkuninushi\u201d, and Chise Niitsu acting as childhood \u201cKanna\u201d were invited.<br \/>\nThe movie is expected to be out in 2021.
