Storyline
The story revolves around the female members of a provincial high school drama club as they start the new school year, select a new “captain,” Saori (Kanako Momota), and attempt to rehearse for a regional drama competition. But when a new arts teacher, Ms. Yoshioka (Kuroki) agrees to help coach them, they begin to set their goals a lot higher, eventually focusing on the All-Japan Drama Competition. Saori and her clubmates Yukko (Shiori Tamai), Garuru (Reni Takagi), Nakanishi (Momoka Ariyasu) and Akemi (Ayaka Sasaki) are in for some empowering life lessons, and their dedication inspires Ms. Yoshioka to rediscover her own passion for the theater.
