Take the stage at Waseda University, the author's alma mater

In the movie, 'Norwegian Wood' (2010), this Waseda University (Nishi-Waseda 1) was used as a university Watanabe (Kenichi Matsuyama) attended. The author Haruki Murakami is also a graduate of this university. Besides, a courtyard of Toyama Campus No.3 and the Okuma garden was also used in the movie, and may Waseda students took part in as extras and staffs.
