Place Where Tsubasa and Daisuke Shake Hands In “Yell for the Blue Sky”
【英】東京ロケ旅詳細
Mizumoto Park
Movie
Eastern Ward Area
In the movie “Yell for the Blue Sky” (2016), the place where Tsubasa Ono (Tao Tsuchiya) and Daisuke Yamada (Ryoma Takeuchi) shake hands to renew their resolve to achieve their respective goals is Mizumoto Park in Katsushika Ward. With the Koaidame reservoir in its center, Mizumoto Park is the largest park within Tokyo’s 23 wards as well as the only one within the metropolitan area with a riverside town scenery. Visitors can enjoy the many natural features of the park: rows of poplar trees, a forest of metasequoia trees, an iris garden, waterfront plants, etc. With its 570 or so cherry trees, Mizumoto Park welcomes throngs of people who come to view the cherry blossoms in the spring.
