Mitaka Train Shed Overpass
Movie
Tama Central Area
Mitaka Train Shed Overpass in Mikata City served as one of the locations for the movie “Before a Falling Star Fades Away” (2015). In the scene he first appears, Takumi Kawashima (Jingi Irie) recalls the passing of Keiichiro Kaji (Shono Hayama) and starts questioning the purpose of his life. On weekends, the overpass is a hidden strolling spot where the locals come to enjoy the view of the trains going back and forth as the evening sets in and gives way to the night skyline.
