Nagata (Yamazaki) is the writer and director of the theater troupe "Oroka," which he founded with his high school friend, and their avant-garde style is critically acclaimed at every performance. One day, Nagata sees Saki (Matsuoka) who moved to Tokyo with a dream of becoming an actress, wearing the same sneakers as he does, and he asks her out.
