Daisuke’s School Trip Destination In “Too Young to Die!

In the movie “Too Young to Die!” (2016), Daisuke (Ryunosuke Kamiki) visits Takahata Fudo-son Kongo-ji temple in Hino City on a school trip. Since ancient times, the temple is cited as one of the three Fudo Myo-o. It is also known as the bodaiji (temple taking care of a family’s dead) of Shinsengumi’s Vice-Commander Hijikata Toshizo. Apart from a five-storied pagoda that can be visited, various events such as markets and festivals are held on the precincts of the temple all year round.
