Heart Melting Scene in “One Week Friends”

An area of Sakuragaoka 1-chome in Tama City is featured in the movie “One Week Friends” (2017). The steep slope with stairs in the 1-chome area is the place where Yuki Hase (Kento Yamazaki) and Kaori Fujimiya (Haruna Kawaguchi) exchange the diary notebook they have just started together. A snowy winter scene was also filmed on a gentle slope in the same area. On a sunny day, the elevated areas of the vast and quiet residential neighborhood offer a sweeping view of the high-rise buildings of Shinjuku.
