Scene with Yoshika in “Tremble All You Want”

The area around Ryusen in Taito Ward served as one of the locations in the movie “Tremble All You Want” (2017). Scenes in which Yoshika Eto (Mayu Matsuoka) walks near her workplace were filmed at this location. This neighborhood is known as the town Meiji era authoress Ichiyo Higuchi used to live in. It was also depicted in various scenes of the masterpiece movie “Takekurabe.” In the vicinity, Ichiyo Memorial Museum gives praise to the literary achievements of Ichiyo Higuchi, Ichiyo Memorial Park features a monument to Takekurabe, and a statue of Ichiyo Higuchi can be found at Senzokuinari Shrine.
