In NHK drama "Ama-chan" (2013), the "Daimyo Clock Museum", located Yanaka, was taken as a boarding house destination by the GMT members. As a downtown (shitamachi) style area with many wooden houses remaining, Yanaka stes the stage for many other dramas. In the museum you can gaze upon the watches made by Edo era watchmakers of lord Okakae, valued worldwide as works of art.
