This is one of the leading government managed parks in Japan which extends across Tachikawa-shi and Akishima-shi. The park is Tokyo’s own oasis with its area equivalent to 40 times the size of Tokyo Dome filled with lush greens. The park is divided into “Green Culture Zone”, “Exhibition Facilities Zone”, “Water Zone”, “Open Field Zone”, and “Forest Zone”. You can enjoy various events held in the park as well as seasonal flowers that decorate the gardens that change season by season.
