In the NHK drama My Husband is a Cartoonist" (2010) one of the shooting locations is in Chofu's "Jindaiji Temple". What is particularly impressive is, Shigeru (Mukai Osamu) and NunoMie (Matsushita Nao) first date scene after marriage. Shooting took place as large number of reporters and fans looked on. On weekends many people visit Jindaiji seeking the rich natural setting and buckwheat specialities, remaining vestiges of Musashino.
