The central library inside this 'Bunka no Mori' in Fussa city was used as a library of Noko Gakuin High School in the movie 'Lesson of the Evil' (2012). Vivid performaces by Fumi Nikaido and Shota Sometani as students were shot in the library. Unlike the story that a slaughter is developed in the movie, this place is one of Ten Scenes of Fussa with verdant and quiet atmosphere. It is good place for walking around.

The places used as the offices of the Special Welfare Division in the "Tamagawa Ward Office OF THE DEAD" (2004) series is here at the former "Ome Textile Industrial Cooperative Hall (BOX KI-O-KU)." A youth soccer match refereed by Ruy Ramos in the movie "A Soccer Story" (2014) was shot at Kozushima island of the Izu Islands. The island is increasingly becoming popular because of its rich nature such as a clear cobalt blue ocean, beautiful white beach, natural hot spring, seasonal flowers and Tenjo-san chosen as one of the 100 Views of New Tokyo.

“Shikinejima” is one of the locations where the filming of the drama “Leave it to Nurses -Remote Island SP” (2014) took place. The scene where Izumi Asakura (Arisa Mizuki) rides on her bicycle from the clinic to the port to pick up Shoko Ozaki (Yuki Matsushita) by going down the slope was shot.

Toshima Island, a remote island that is part of Tokyo, served as one of the locations in the movie “Hikari - And Then There Was Light” (2017). Several scenes were filmed on the island, featured as Mihama Island in the movie, where Nobuyuki (Nayuta Fukuzaki), Mika (Guama), and Tasuku (Atsuya Okada) used to live when they were young. Toshima is a small island (4.12 km²) that is part of the Izu Island chain. It is located about 140 km south of the metropolis and has a circumference of about 8 km. The island is covered with about 200,000 camellia trees whose flowers offer a spectacular view as they bloom to blanket the entire island in winter. At night, when the sky is clear, many constellations as well as the Milky Way are visible with the naked eye. The island has become a popular dolphin watching spot as the amicable mammals have started inhabiting the area around the port of Toshima in recent years.
