The scene from the movie "Tokyo Newcomer" (2012), which Kimie (Chieko Baisho) picks up a go stone that Yoshiryu (Qin Hao) drops was shot at Kanda Shrine located in Chiyoda. The shrine has a history of 1300 years and still worshipped as a local deity by 108 towns including Kanda and Nihonbashi. There are varieties of events held throughout the year and it is highly recommended to check the event schedule before paying a visit.
