In the movie "The Wolverine"( 2013 ) the funeral of Yashida ( Hal Yamanouchi ) is held at Zojoji Temple in Shiba Park. During the the grand funeral Logan ( Hugh Jackman ) and Mariko (TAO) are attacked on the grand staircase in front of the main hall and the resulting escape scene leaves a lasting impression. Also, the action where the ninja Harada (Will Yun Lee) yearns for Mariko was shot on top of the roof tiles of Zojoji Temple Hall leading to Koshoden.
