Akatsuka Ichiban Shopping Street
Drama
Northern Ward Area
"Akatsuka Ichiban Dori Shopping Street" in Itabashi ward is where this drama takes place in TV drama "Hello, Detective Hedgehog" (2017). The Akatsuka Detective Office where Goro Nanase (Eita) and Kyusaku Kogure(Go Morita)belongs to was filmed at a set, built up inside the building in this shopping street just like in the original comic. Other than the Detective Office set, surrounding areas of the shopping street were used for other episodes starring Ranko Shidawara(Kyoko Fukada)and others.
Akatsuka Ichiban Shopping Street area that stretches from Shimo Akatsuka Station North exit for about 200 meters, still remains the atmosphere of Showa era with downtown taste. Once you go under the entrance arcade gate, many shops lined up with old fashioned appearance such as deli stores, stand up noodle shops, Chinese restaurants, Japanese pubs, Japanese sweets shops, clothing stores and living ware stores. Why don't you enjoy the air of the show while strolling and enjoying the downtown food?
