Tama Northern Area
Seikei University in Kichijoji, Musashino City, served as one of the locations in the movie “PARKS” (2017). Several scenes were filmed near the main gate, in the main building, at the information library, and in other areas of the university campus. Several faculty members as well as about 40 students volunteered as extras. This movie was produced as one of the projects related to the 100th anniversary of the opening of Inokashira Park, which spans Musashino City and Mitaka City. In addition to the scenes taken at Seikei University, scenes were filmed in Inokashira Park and on the streets of Kichijoji. Come take a stroll around the streets of Kichijoji while recalling scenes from the movie.
