Storyline

Eight-year-old Sayaka (Chise Niitsu) lives in a coastal town and can't accept that her beloved dog Lou vanished while she was on a school trip. One day, she meets a dog in the field where she used to play with Lou. A few days later, she finds the dog leashed in front of a cafe and gets to know the cafe owner, Fuse (Yoshi Oida).

Making of the film

The field where the shoot took place would quickly be overrun by weeds if we didn't take care of it, so we worked hard to cut the grass before shooting started. The director, crew and cast worked tirelessly to shoot this film from April 2018 to the end of October 2018.
